20 Items You Will Use All Year in 2023
How overwhelming is it during the new year to always be hearing New Year, New Me? How about instead of feeling like we need to redo our lives completely, let’s embrace last year and see what we can do this year to make the life we know we live more comfortable every day. One of my favorite things about practicing mindful consumption is the absolute gratitude i feel towards items I use all the time. I do not like frivolous stuff and I’m really trying my best to spend very mindfully in 2023.
This list has price ranges from under 5 dollars to under 500.

Items that can make you healthier:
if you haven’t yet, you must find your favorite sunscreen/lotion combo, these are my two.
I finally did it. I’ve been using my Fresh face lotion for years now and the only downside to it is that it doesn’t have SPF. But I have finally found the combo I’ve been looking for with the super goop spf serum. I really hate the way all sunscreens feel and smell so it’s really hard for me to put them on my face with the sensory issues I have. The super goop serum has no smell and it’s really really soft. It almost feels oily but it really isn’t? It’s confusing but amazing and can’t recommend enough.
Hopefully you have seen the news how bad traditional spray dry shampoo (or any aerosol products like texture spray, hairspray ect.) is for our health. They have found it to be cancer causing so use of these products should be limited or eliminated. I found out this news after becoming a full on dry shampoo convert. I had only been really using it last year and loved every second of it so when I found out, I went on the non-aerosol dry shampoo hunt. Many just use corn starch from their kitchen but I wanted to see if I could find anything a bit better and found this. It’s smell isn’t the BEST but it does wear off after the first 20-30 minutes. But I have to say, it works! I start using it on day 2-3 after washing to keep my bangs fluffy
Items to make you feel like ‘That Girl’:
If you’re anything like me, you have been drooling at those people with an iPad doing their digital planners for a long time now and you JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE. But you’re not trying to spend 800+ on an iPad. It's 2023, we are being more conscious with our money and trying our best. I did my research and found an affordable alternative and it’s the Windows Go tablet. There are newer versions but I opted for the 2021 version brand new. I use mine as a digital planner, streaming device, cook book, drawing pad, and so much more. At $350 for the tablet plus another $60 for the drawing pen, I am absolutely in love.
